As Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, he told God’s people to trust God. And God parted the sea to make a dry path for them to walk on! Moses and God’s people trusted that God knew what was best for them, and we can trust that God knows what’s best for us, too!

Of course, we don’t want kids to put themselves in dangerous situations, but there’s an aspect of friendship when we might feel like we need to defend others. It’s important that we find a way to stand up for people who are being treated badly. We want kids to understand how they can encourage others and let them know they’re not alone.
